09/07/17 13:16 Basic: Lulu is a 10 year old small breed dog that the owner got from a friend a year and a half ago. The owner is surrendering because she is relocating and cannot take Lulu with her. In the time the owner has had Lulu, she has not taken her to the vet. Socialization: Around strangers, Lulu is described as very friendly. Lulu has spent time with a 2, 6, and 9 year old and she is very relaxed and playful with them. Lulu plays gently with both children and adults. Lulu has never lived with another dog. Lulu has lived with a cat and she is very playful with the cat. Lulu has never bitten or scratched another animal or a person. Behavior: During storms or fireworks, Lulu just stays in her bed. Lulu is not bothered when her food bowl is touched when she is eating, when a toy is taken from her, or when she is taken off of furniture. Lulu loves taking a bath and being brushed! When the doorbell rings, Lulu barks. The owner has never cut Lulu’s nails. When someone approaches Lulu and her owner on the street, she is very friendly. For a New Family to Know: Lulu is described as friendly, affectionate, and playful. Lulu has a medium level of activity. The owner’s favorite thing about Lulu is how attached she is to her. Lulu’s favorite thing to do is play with the cat. Lulu likes to play with balls and stuffed toys. Lulu has been kept mostly indoors. Lulu sleeps on her own bed. Lulu is free fed Beneful dry food. Lulu likes to use the gravel when she goes out and will use a wee-wee pad if one is put down. Lulu has been crate trained and does well in one as long as the door is left open. Lulu knows how to sit, come here, lay down, and stay. For exercise, Lulu goes on slow walks on a leash. On a leash, Lulu does not pull. The owner is too afraid to take Lulu off of the leash. Upon intake, Lulu had a loose body and was wagging her tail. When the owner left, Lulu was pacing and nervous. Lulu allowed being collared and having her picture be taken.
