No History : Owner surrender Subjective: Observed Behavior – Lunging at owner, owner was unable to place muzzle. Squeeze gate used for vaccinations. Rope muzzle placed for brief exam and MC. Low growlng throughout exam Evidence of Cruelty seen – No Evidence of Trauma seen – No Objective P = WNL R = WNL BCS 4/9 EENT: Nuclear sclerosis, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Moderate dental tartar/gingivitis, pink mm, hypersalivating H/L: NSR, NMA, Lungs clear, eupnic U/G: Male MSI: Ambulatory x 4, slow stiff gait with crouched posture CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: Geriatric, R/O arthritis Plan: Rec rimadyl 75mg POq12 x 7 days. Unable to run geriatric panel due to behavior Prognosis: Open depending on any underlying disease SURGERY: Permanent waiver due to age
