I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 01/18/2017 from NY 11421, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

01/31/17 Seemed quieter than normal on rounds. O: QARH. Resting on bed. Comes to front of kennel when called. mm=pink, moist, CRT<2 s. EENT: No oculonasal discharge, no sneezing. H/L: Lungs clear. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft, soft and loose body, open mouth. Tag:1. Dog assumes play position and joins the game. Or dog indicates play with huffing, soft ‘popping’ of the body, etc. Dog jumps on Assessor once play begins. Squeeze 1&2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy: 1. Dog settles close, keeps a firm grip and is loose and wiggly. He does not place his body between you and the toy. Summary: Lucky was friendly and social towards the assessor, he also pulls very hard on the leash. When off leash with dogs at the Care Center, Lucky approaches the gate with a stiff body and lunges at the social greeter dog. Because of this behavior he is not allowed to greet the dog face to face. Another attempt was made to introduce Lucky to another dog. Once outside, Lucky immediately rushes towards the other dog and becomes reactive, barking, growling and running along the fence. Due to his high arousal level and inability to de-escalate, he is not introduced to the other dog. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 1/18/17: During his medical examination, Lucky was a little nervous, tense but allowed all handling.
