0915 – later able to touch the dog see AS – infection present with yellow d/c and possible broken cartilage – adding clavamox and tramadol. Need ear cleaning- painful ear may not be able to be managed well at ACC d/t combo DVM exam behavior results – try eye meds the can work into ear cleaning at ACC.

Basic Information:
Lucky is a 9 year old male shih tzu mix who was brought in with his house mate Bubbie.
Social Life and personality:
Lucky has been around children ages 2 to 14 and is relaxed around them but does not often play with them. Around other dogs Lucky is playful and exuberant. A round cats Lucky is relaxed. Lucky is wee wee pad trained and rarely has any accidents. Lucky has been kept indoors only and has a high activity level. Lucky has been described as playful, excitable, affectionate, anxious and friendly.
Behavior:
Lucky has good behavior and has never bitten another person or animal. Lucky is friendly when someone touches his food or bowl while he is eating, takes a bone or treat away or takes a toy or other object away. Lucky is friendly when someone pushes him off of the furniture, gives him a bath, brushes his coat, or holds him. Lucky is not bothered by anyone unfamiliar approaching his home or family. Lucky’s previous owner did not trim his nails so it is unknown how he will react to this event.
For a New Family to Know:
Lucky does not know any commands and is used to going for one walk a day on a leash. Lucky does not play with toys and likes to be in the same room as you. When Lucky is left alone in the house he will whine. Lucky is terrified of Thunder storms. Lucky eats dry from the brand Iams and likes to sleep on his own bed.
Intake Behavior:
Lucky allowed staff to collar, scan for a microchip and take picture with no signs of aggression.
Group Behavior:
When off leash with other dogs, Lucky offers brief greeting before wandering the yard.
