Playgroup Notes:
When off leash with other dogs, Lovely is initially fearful but allows greeting. She corrects pushy solicitation, and eventually approaches and sniffs a calmer dog.
Group Behavior:
Upon entering the care center Lovely was initially nervous when around other dogs. However, she quickly warmed up and became a social group greeter dog. She is respectful of dogs who are uncomfortable and playful with dogs who are, replicating play style of the other dog. She will also offer correction to persistent mounters or dogs who exhibit rude behaviors. She arrived at the care center as a stray, so any in-home behaviors are unknown. Based on these observations the behavior department feels that Lovely could go to a home with another playful male or female dog.
When off leash with other dogs, Lovely is initially fearful but allows greeting. She corrects pushy solicitation, and eventually approaches and sniffs a calmer dog.
1/28 update: Lovely is more confident, approaching males and females to greet and solicit. She run alongside of other dogs that are engaged in play and will offer correction when mounted.
