Love Muffin was difficult to remove from the kennel snapping at the leash. Once he came out he started it to grab at the leash he when she starts biting the leash and growling. Love muffin jumps up at the handler with his body stiff. The behavior team decided to place him back in his kennel he was difficult to handle. During the intake staff member stated that Love Muffin was lunging and snapping at ACO while the dog was tethered on the wall. The dog also was lunging and snapping when in crate that he was brought to care center in”. Due to the behavior demonstrated in the shelter the behavior department believes that Love Muffin is not an appropriate candidate for SAFER. Playgroup Notes: When greeting through a barrier, Love Muffin displays a soft body and wagging tail.
