A volunteer writes: Lorenzo, a romantic Italian name for an elegant dog… Indeed, Lorenzo is a very good looking pooch, slender and beautifully dressed in his lush Shepie coat. His markings are attractive so is his smile and his sparkling eyes. Lorenzo LOVES to be out and in company and so dislikes to be in a kennel. So, I beg you, do not get the wrong idea about him.. He is a very nice dog ! Lorenzo is an active dog, although not over the top and after a few zoomies and doing his business, he will settle into a very pleasant stroll around the area and the park. He does not go after the pigeons or the bikes and really seems to like other dogs, even the little ones. No cat was met to judge his affinity for felines. Lorenzo is a very friendly character, a great sitter and ….he gives paw, right and left on command and for a treats , of course. He poses so obediently and perfectly for the pictures… No excuse to bring home a bad photo…. I really like Lorenzo a lot. He is gorgeous, sociable, affectionate, a good listener and he likes his peers… Yep, he plays very nicely with them in playgroups….So, come and meet our champion here at the Manhattan Care Center, get to interact with him in the street with one of our counselors , be smitten with him and take him home as your forever best friend.
