12/15/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
12/15/16 19:58 On intake, Loofah’s tail was wagging the whole time. Whenever counselor said her name, she would look at counselor and wag her tail even more. Counselor asked Medusa to sit and she sat while counselor collared her. Medusa got back up and counselor pat her head. Counselor asked Medusa to sit for pictures with a treat in her hand and Medusa listened. Counselor took pictures and then offered the treat to Medusa which she took gently from counselor’s hand. Her tail didn’t stop wagging.
12/20/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: My girl crush of the day, Ms. Loofah! So sweet and tail waggy, so thrilled to have found a big stick in the park she carried it all the way back to the building….tail wagging! Loofah wears the signs of a dog who has had multiple litters but she hasn’t lost her love of people and is so gently happy to kiss and make friends. She’s likely housetrained, is beautiful on leash, poses for photos with a bunch of funny faces (remember the old picture trick of flipping pages quickly to show animation?), my pictures would be perfect for that :). Her tail never stops wagging to both people and other dogs, she loves to be pet and cuddled and give kisses, didn’t mind a fleece coat against the cold, has clearly been fed well, but now finds herself on her own looking for a new home. A fun, friendly, calm, affectionate and sweet girl is waiting to meet you in Manhattan. We all fell in love with her at first meeting and are rooting for her to begin the next phase of her life as a pampered pet. She’s earned it, she deserves it. We guarantee you’ll be as smitten as we are. The senior years are the best years – come meet her today as she’s waiting to prove it to you. Note: Although the videos may refer to Loofah by a different name, the correct name is Loofah. This was due to a name change.
