Her name was Lola, she was a show dog…She wore pink flowers in her fur, her dancing legs were just a blur…baby Lola is no tragic heroine but she definitely deserves her own theme song so I’m co-opting the classic Copacabana tune to bring you the story of the cutest, kissiest, silliest little girl ever! She likes other dogs, plays ball games, loves her treats, walks well on leash, gives stand up hugs, lap snuggles and so many kisses you’ll lose count within seconds. In other words, Lola is the perfect embodiment of everything everyone dreams of in a puppy and once you meet her it’s impossible not to fall in love! Who knows what breeds went into creating this level of Oreo cookie gorgeousness but Lola is definitely one of a kind; all big-eyed wonder and long-legged goofiness and her wee body is in constant wiggly motion. She reminds me of a young dancer just finding her feet and I can almost see the elegant lady she’ll grow into, a stunning dog anyone would be proud to call their own. Lola is already spayed and more than ready to dedicate her big heart and happy soul to one very lucky family and all she asks in return is lots of love, plenty of playtime and a whole lot of treats. It may not be ‘the hottest spot north of Havana’ but unlike the Copa, when you visit the Manhattan Care Center I guarantee you’ll find everlasting love…with Lola.
