A volunteer writes: Is it true blondes have more fun? Come meet Miss Lola and find out!! Elegant and quiet in her kennel, she steps out gently and regally and off we go. Taking care of her business is her first priority once we’re outside, and while she pulls on the leash a bit it seems to be, at this point, that she is looking for the family she once had. We’re told that she’s lived with children ages 1 mo. to 9yo, and is relaxed and playful with them, doesn’t guard her ‘stuff’. doesn’t mind baths, loves toys and playing fetch with her owner, is housetrained, and knows ‘sit’ and ‘stay’. When we were done with our walk Lola and I went into a backyard pen and sure enough, the first thing Lola did was chase a tennis ball. She then showed off her sit, took her treat gently and went off to further explore the pen. Lola just joined us when I met her so is understandably a bit anxious but she’s a proven family dog looking for a new family to take care of. She’s gorgeous and well cared for right down to her gorgeous white teeth. Her former family tells us that Lola is a bit shy and takes a few minutes to get used to new people. We’re all new here and Lola is doing a great job of meeting us. I’m looking forward to the day when her beautiful amber eyes see her new family, and her plume of a tail wags as she walks out the door. Come meet Lola today.
