04/26/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Loki came to us as an owner surrender due to the owner’s allergies. According to the owner Loki is friendly and playful with everyone in the household including the children. The owner reported that Loki loves meeting new people, and is not bother when anyone touches his food while eating or take treats from him. Loki pulled slightly on the leash and was very interested in interacting with the assessor when entering the behavior room. He allowed the assessor to conduct all tactile assessment items while maintaining soft body language. He showed no interest in the toy on this portion of the assessment. When on an on-leash dog interaction Loki approached the helper dog with relaxed body language. We believe that Loki can go to a home with an adopter that has an average amount of dog experience. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is closed for a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Dog may lick hand Squeeze 2:1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy 1: No interest. Dog-dog: 2. Dog approaches helper dog with tail at spine level, body not stiff, ears relaxed, lip long.
