MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Date of initial 8/7/2017 During his initial medical exam, Lion was social and allowed all handing. ENERGY LEVEL: We have no history on Lion so we cannot be certain of his behavior in a home environment. In the care center, Lion displays as an energetic, social dog with a high level of energy. We recommend daily walks, runs, exercise, and play to keep him engaged and exercised. RECOMMENDATIONS: Experienced (suitable for an adopter with some previous dog experience, especially in the behavior outlined below) Potential Challenges _x_ Fearful – Though observed to be human-social, Lion may initially need time to warm up as he presented as fearful upon intake, tense with tail tucked. We recommend allowing Lion to interact at his own pace, force-free, rewarding based training is advised when introducing him to new/unfamiliar situations.
