11/01/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Lenox joins us as her person lost her home, and comes with an outstanding resume. We’re told she’s friendly and playful with strangers (check), is playful with kids of all ages, lived and played well with another Pit Bull, doesn’t guard her things, loves to play with toys and play chase, is housetrained, and will go into the garbage if it’s not put away (so, OK she has one tiny shortcoming). Lenox is indeed housetrained, ‘going’ forever as soon as we were out the door. Excited to be out for a walk, we bounced our way to the park and back. Off leash in a pen, Lenox loved playing with some toys, posed for photos like a pro showing off her sit, takes treats gently, and wanted to meet every person and dog passing by. Her tail never stops wagging, she has a gorgeous smile, and was clearly lovingly taken care of. In her first playgroup, Miss Lenox happily romped with both males and females, soliciting chase, spinning and bouncing through the pen. Lenox approaches everything she does with unbridled enthusiasm and joy. I wish I could bottle her positivity and distribute it around the world. She’s an awesome little girl looking for a fun, active and loving person or family with whom to spend her happily ever after.
