04/07/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Princess Leia always looks like she is about to ask a question. Everything and everyone is new to her. She has lots to wonder about. She is a pretty brindle, elegantly dressed, fitted with eye catching butterfly ears and the owner of big button eyes. Leia is welcoming in her kennel and is a great walker despite a little limp. She is a big tail wagger, happy to meet humans and dogs alike. Free in a pen, she gladly meets though the fence another female who is just as happy to see Leia. Two good natured gals. She runs after a ball without catching it and runs toward me, settling comfortably on my lap for kisses and hugs…Princess Leia’s final destination. Leia did very well on her behavioral evaluation and interacts well with her peers in playgroups. She is sociable and affectionate, easy to be with and is therefore in our adoption quarters, ready to meet you and hoping to be soon your very own forever best friend… Another volunteer writes: “She’s so cute”, squealed a bunch of school kids who passed us in the park. “Yes she is”, I responded with pride. And is she ever! A tiny little brindle girl, so lively and sweet, her energy level is perfect as she snuggles in for kisses, bows to dogs met in the park to play, and wags her tail at everyone. And the trick of the day is that Leia stands on her hind legs, waving her front paws for a treat. Beyond adorable! Leia seems to be housetrained, is curious, alert, friendly and most likely to be voted Most Popular of the Class of 2017! She’s engaging in play with her peers in group, and enjoying her time with humans, doing so well on her behavior assessment that she’ll be a good fit in a home with an average amount of dog experience. Pretty Princess Leia is waiting for you!!

ENERGY LEVEL: We have no history on Leia so we cannot be certain of her behavior in a home environment.
