A volunteer writes: A little ingenue, sweet, naive, an almost blank canvas ready to absorb like a sponge , all the information and all the teaching that you will give her. She is all ears, all eyes…for you…She is so cute, all black like a piece of coal, sitting and waiting on the bench. She sometimes dances with her forelegs…Her ears move in all directions..She is paying attention to my every words.. Lavender loves treats. She knows she has a lot of growing up to do. She came in as a stray but quite healthy, well groomed and enjoying an excellent weight. Lavender is very sociable, friendly to all, other pooches included and is an excellent lap dog. She is not mouthy or a leash biter. No growing up without love ! Who would not fall in love with this little black beauty ? Lavender is waiting for you at the Manhattan Care Center. Come and meet her soon. She will be , your best friend…forever.
