09/19/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/19/17 19:05 Basic Information: Lana is a female gray brindle and white medium sized dog roughly a year and a half old. She was found tied up with another male dog outside a park in the Bronx. Her finders couldn’t keep him due to the dogs in his home already. Behavior During Intake: Lana greated me with a closed mouth and slightly wagging tail. She retreated and backed up numerous times when trying to scan her for a micro chip. She allowed me to collar her though but was barking when I squeaked the toy. She was a little resistant going into the kennel but over time went in
09/27/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Lana was found with friend Tucker, roaming all by themselves in a park. I call them Romeo and Juliette as they always seem so happy to see each other, at least when they pass in front of each other’s kennel. Lana is a very pretty gal, dressed in an elegant light brindle coat and outfitted with the most beautiful smoke topazes as eyes. She is low key, calm and reserved, so obedient, a good little walker who minds her business with dogs and pigeons alike. She is comfortable with people, likes caresses and kisses, sits on command at once and takes treats gently from my hands. She is really cute to watch in playgroups with her peers, males and females, having fun without being carried away. Such a good little girl who seems fit for all occasions. Lana is gentle, well mannered, and very sociable. She will make a wonderful companion for many years to come. Come and meet her soon at the Manhattan Care Center. She is a keeper!! Another volunteer writes: Are you ready to meet the sweetest, gentlest, most awesome dog on the planet? If so, come meet Lana! Great on leash, her tail never stops wagging, she loves to meet new people and show off her sit for a treat. Look up the word ‘gentle’ in the dictionary, and the definition is ‘Lana’. She loves to play with other dogs, loves socializing with people, and is the quiet best friend with whom to share your secrets and, of course, your hugs. It’s no surprise she rocked her behavior assessment and is patiently waiting to meet her new bestie–you! Treat yourself today and come meet her. Lana playing with her k9 friends!
