05/04/17 11:06 Basic Information: Lady is a 13 year old female Yorkie mix. She is being surrendered because her current owner has no time for her and works long hour days. Lady does have a existing lump on her chest area , and has not seen a vet recently. Socialization: Lady is friendly around strangers and has spent time around children of all ages. She is gentle, relaxed, respectful, when around other adults and children. Lady is not comfortable around other dogs, because she was bitten on the neck by another dog; and is somewhat fearful and will retreat. Behavior: Lady is potty trained and has no issues, she isn’t bothered during storms, fireworks. She isn’t bothered when food bowl is touched while eating, isn’t bothered if pushed of furniture, held or restrained, disturb while sleeping. Lady enjoys bath time, being brushed. She is friendly and will not bark if an unfamiliar stranger approaches the home. For a New Family to Know: Lady is described as friendly, affectionate, and mellow, with medium activity level. When home she likes to follow you around and mostly kept indoors. Lady is house trained and likes to eat Alpo, Purina dry/ wet food mix up to 3times a day; her favorite foods are bacon and chicken. When left alone in the house lady is well behaved, and she knows the commands; sit, come, and stand. Lady may pull on the leash lightly at times, and when off leash will stay close to your side.

Behavior toward strangers: Friendly Behavior toward children: Relaxed and playful. Behavior toward dogs: Fearful and uncomfortable. Behavior toward cats: Unknown Resource guarding: None reported Bite history: None reported Housetrained: Yes Energy level/descriptors: Lady is described as friendly, affectionate, and mellow, with medium activity level. Other notes: According to the owner Lady is fearful towards other dogs. SAFER ASSESSMENT: 5/13/17 Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, her eyes are averted, and her tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture.
