Medical Summary Sex: Female Scan: Negative Estimated age: 9 years old Fleas: No flea dirt. S: Friendly, quiet, leans into you, allows all handling O: BAR-H, BCS 5/9, MMs pink and moist EENT: No discharge OU, AU, nose. Severe tartar and gingivitis. PLNs: Not enlarged. H/L: NSR, NMA. Eupnic, quiet lung sounds. Abd: Soft, no pain on palpation, no masses palpated M/S/I: Amb x4. Heavily matted, especially legs UG: Female, likely intact A: 1. Dental disease 2. Mats Short-term prognosis: Good Current surgery status: Surgery on dogs 9-10 years old at ACC is at the discretion of the surgeon. This patient is in apparently good health so she would be a good surgical candidate for her age. P: 1. Administered pyrantel 1.5 ml PO and Activyl 4-14 lbs during exam. 2. Will sign up for grooming 3. Recommend dental cleaning after placement 1088
