Krispy Kreme
Hello, my name is Krispy Kreme . My animal id is #18075. I am a male sandy dog at the Brooklyn Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 2 years 1 weeks old.
I came into the shelter as a agency on 11-Jan-2018.
Krispy Kreme was placed at risk due to behavioral concerns. Krispy Kreme is becoming increasingly difficult to maneuver throughout the shelter due to his dog reactivity and extremely high arousal levels- lunging, barking and snapping the entire time he is being moved through the care center.

Behavior Asilomar: TM – Treatable-Manageable
Recommendations:: Single-pet home,Recommend no dog parks
Recommendations comments:: _X_ Single-pet home/Recommend no dog parks: Due to the concerning behaviors that Krispy Kreme has shown during playgroup (see GROUPBEHAVIOR SUMMARY), we feel that Krispy Kreme should not visit dog parks and be the only resident dog. The Behavior Department recommends that he be socialized in a more controlled setting until his behavior towards other dogs can be further addressed. Reward-based, force-free training can be utilized to help Krispy Kreme associate dogs with things he enjoys like toys or treats.
