I am a female gray and white american staff mix. The shelter thinks I am about 2 YEARS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 04/02/2016 from NY 10460, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K16-052232.

04/05/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Koala walks calmly on leash. She was calm and relaxed during handling. Koala followed the assessor at the end of the leash with a calm and relaxed body language when playing tag. She was not interested in toys. Koala did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that she can go to an Average home. Look: 1. Dog holds gaze with soft eyes, soft body. She allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Dog holds gaze for three full seconds. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, her eyes are averted, and her tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft, wagging tail, ears relaxed. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back her paw. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back her paw. Toy 1: No interest.

When off leash with other dogs, Koala is tense upon entering the pen but briefly approaches to sniff. She eventuallt offers a few brief bows to the male greeter.
