02/18/16 19:53 BASIC INFO Knuckles A1065514 is an approximately 8-10 year old Staffordshire/Bulldog Mix. He does not allow you to take away his food bowl or water bowl, If an unknown approaches owner he barks. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Knuckles is friendly, affectionate and very mellow. He has a low activity level. When home he stays in the same spot. He sleeps on a doggy bed and eats chicken and rice flavored dry food. He does not play with toys. He has been kept mostly indoors. 02/19/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Knuckles came to us as an owner surrender on due to the owner having to move to a place that does not allow dogs. According to the owner Knuckles can be a bit shy when meeting strangers, and used to be playful with children but does not play anymore which can be attributed to his old age. The owner also stated that Knuckles will not allow you to take his food or water bowls from him. He allowed all handling from medical staff during his medical evaluation. Due to the possibility of discomfort as a result of the handling, his overall medical condition, and his inability to walk Knuckles is not an appropriate candidate for SAFER at this time.
