A volunteer writes:  If you need a buddy to watch the Rio Olympics with this summer (and beyond!)  look no further because King is your man.  He’s the best of both worlds—part super fun active dog, part chill and laid back couch potato.  Let him loose in the yard and he’s all games—he loves fetch, and doesn’t seem to slow his pace when speeding after a ball.  He’s willing to make his own games too, batting around the ball with his front paws as if he’s on the soccer field heading for the goalie. Or he will stalk out the ball, butt in the air, ready to pounce on it. But his former owner tells us that while he’s an energetic boy, he’s just as entertained by looking out the window or watching TV.  He is reportedly tolerant toward cats, knows commands such as sit, stay and down, and he’ll even jump right into the tub when he’s ready for a bath or a brushing! King may not be a participant in this year’s Olympics, but he’s sure to win a gold medal in your heart.  Ask to meet him today!
