Medical Summary Limited PE due to behavior, needed pole for walking Microchip: negative Sex: neutered male Age: reported 12y Mentation: BARH Eyes: some injection in sclera Ears: could not assess Nose: no d/c Teeth: could not easily assess If abnormal BCS: WNL, did not obtain at time of exam due to restraint Skin: WNL Hair Coat: WNL Declawed: N/A Any injuries: no; golf ball sized mass on top of head; owner reported that dog was in a house fire, brought to MACC for observation, no obvious injury from fire but watching for smoke inhalation Behavior: difficult to remove from scene to transport and also to remove from van for exam, dog had minimal exam via restraint pole and walked to kennel; dog would lunge and bite at leads and restraint pole and was reported by the owner as reactive to other animals Medication: N/A, preventatives given
