Medical Summary 9/12/16 Microchip scan neg. approximately 9 yrs old Oozing mammary mass noted on intake O: QARH. mm=pink, moist, CRT<2 s. Allows all handling. EENT: Nuclear sclerosis OU. Oral: Mod. gingivitis, calculus. H/L: Mild increased respiratory effort. No coughing. ABD: Soft, non-painful. No palpable masses. UG: Female. Integ: Multiple mammary masses on left side: 4 cm diam. 1st cranial; very large mass involving 3 caudal mammae. Skin is mildly ulcerated, with purulent discharge from ulcerated spots. MS: Ambulatory x 4, thin condition. PLN: Enlarged left popliteal lymph node. A: Multiple mammary masses, caudal one(s) infected. Metastatic disease likely. P: Rec placement for further workup/treatment. Start antibiotics for infection. Rx Cephalexin 500 mg. 1 PO BID x 14 days. Prognosis fair to poor depending on stage of cancer.
