06/10/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: I thought I knew what it meant for a dog to be wiggly…and then I met Kelis. Oh my goodness! She is the wiggliest of them all! She is petite, with pleading eyes and the brightest smile. She LOVES to play with toys and is happy to play fetch, or entertain herself with them. She has previously lived with children as young as one year, and an elderbull of 13 years, and is said to have been relaxed, gentle and playful with them. She has frequented dog parks and has been very playful with other dogs while in our care. She is very food-motivated and eagerly showed me her commands. The first treat I gave her was big and crunchy and at first she mistook it for a toy; she play bowed to it and tossed it around before chowing down — adorable! Her previous family reports that she is well-behaved, housebroken, and “likes to play fetch with her family and be affectionate.” Kelis radiates positive energy, love, and fun…she is amazing! She would love to meet you at Brooklyn ACC and show you what it means to be wiggly!
