A volunteer writes: Kamela was the highlight of my day. I enjoyed my time with her so much that I had to take her out again. Kamela is a well behaved while lively female. She has all the traits of a family dog. I could tell. She has been so well cared for and is so well dressed in her elegant grey and beige brindle coat. Not a callus, spic and span, healthy, and the perfect weight. Kamela sat in her kennel before being leashed. What a great walker she is, civil with all dogs met. She has a very stern face she which did not prevent her from doing silly things like jumping up and down the back of a bench and getting all entangled with her rope. She loves caresses and enjoyed a petting session sitting by my side. Her eyes soften so much when I hold her face. I really love her! She is a beautiful lady, so well balanced, gentle and loving and a wonderful gal who will make once again an amazing and loyal forever best friend. Come and meet her soon at the Manhattan Care Center…and take her home! Another volunteer writes: Meeting this gorgeous girl was one of the highlights of my day. She’s brindliciously beautiful, gentle, easy going, lovely on leash, and her persona exudes that of ‘family dog’. She has indeed been a part of a family, living with two teenagers with whom she was gentle and relaxed, doesn’t guard her stuff, is friendly and outgoing to all, loves playing with toys, will potty inside on newspapers and outside as well. Kamela did potty the moment we were outside, and we then enjoyed a leisurely walk to the park as she showed off how perfect she is on leash. Lovingly taken care of, her tail wags as we go, her weight is perfect for her size, and we’re told she knows ‘sit’, ‘come’ and sometimes ‘stay’ and is well behaved when left home alone. Kamela loves treats and takes them gently as she posed for pictures, sometimes hopping up on the bench for a change of scenery as she posed. Make lovely Kamela part of your family today.
