KNOWN HISTORY: N/A Unaltered, Stray SAFER ASSESSMENT: 12/13/16 Look: 1. Dog holds gaze with soft eyes, soft body. She allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Dog holds gaze for three full seconds. Sensitivity: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft, soft and loose body, open mouth. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1:1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. Her eyes are averted and her ears are relaxed. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back her paw. Toy 1: 4. Dog becomes stiff and bares teeth. Summary: Jubliee was friendly and affectionate towards the assessor though may require behavior modification to address any potential guarding issues that may present in a home environment. PLAYGROUP: Jubliee came into the Care Center as a stray so her behavior with other dogs is unknown. When off leash with a novel male dog at the Care Center, Jubliee has a low body and tucked tail when she is greeted. She is tolerant of the male being sexually motivated, and she wanders in the pen once they are separated. Jubliee greeted another calm female dog today with a soft, loose body. She exchanged sniffs but mostly kept to her self, exploring her environment. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 12/13/16 During her medical examination, Jubliee was friendly and she allowed all handling. ENERGY LEVEL: RECOMMENDATIONS: Experience (Suitable for an adopter with a previous amount of dog experience) _X_No children (under 13) Potential challenges: _X_Resource guarding (We cannot be certain whether any guarding or possessive behavior may appear in a home environment, but we recommend adopters comfortable with safe management and modification of guarding behavior in case it does.)
