Juan
Hello, my name is Juan. My animal id is #15595. I am a male brown brindle dog at the Brooklyn Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 2 years 1 weeks old.
I came into the shelter as a aco impound on 07-Dec-2017.
Juan is at risk due to being diagnosed with Canine Infection Respiratory Disease Complex and will likely require home rest and a series of antibiotics for up to 14 days. This is a contagious illness to other dogs. Juan is suitable for an adopter with an average amount of dog experience.
A Little Bit About Me…
A volunteer writes: I’d be wary about feeding Juan after midnight because he is a little gremlin! Or maybe he’s more gargoyle. Or a combination of both- a gremgoyle! Whatever he is, he’s absurdly cute and has a personality to match. Always eager to “tell” me he needs to go out–he can be vocal in his kennel, and does the most adorable dance to get my attention. He seems housetrained and that may be the reason he’s a bit pully on the leash. When he gets excited he starts twirling in small circles like a Tasmanian devil, getting tangled in his leash and then searches my eyes with his big googly ones begging me to undo the chaos he has just done. Oh Juan, such a goof ball! Juan has even been used as a social greeter dog in our doggy playgroups! Whether gremlin or gargoyle, one thing is for sure, Juan is a dog not to be missed. Ask to meet him today!
