A staff member writes: “Big John” is what I affectionately call John. John is easy to take in and out of his kennel, he immediately demonstrates his potty skills for me, and off we go for a slow walk. John walks beautifully on leash and greets other dogs and people with a slow tail wag. John doesn’t care much for being a lap dog (good thing, considering his size) but likes to sit near me as we enjoy the warm summer day. He took treats gently from my hands and kept checking them to see if I had more… what determination!!! If you’re interested in giving Big John a home, please come to the Care Center and meet him.
