08/25/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
08/25/16 20:14 *clients were unable to provide detailed information about jessica* jessica was surrendered due to landlord issues. she had lived in this home for two months. client says that she was shy around strangers and would growl and snap at them if they attempted to touch her before she felt comfortable. client believed she lived with children prior to living with her, but was not able to say how the dog interacted with them. she did not live with any other animals at any time. client said jessica refused to go to the bathroom outside and would only go in the house. she also barks quite a bit (the reason the landlord was enforcing the “no pet” policy). the dog would allow for client to hold her. clients did not know if jessica guards food/toys/treats. client says that jessica is very smart and is good at learning commands. at the acc, jessica growled at counselor with whale eyes when her previous owners left. she would growl louder when counselor attempted to collar her, so she could not be collared or otherwise touched. she would shrink away with tail tucked and ears back if someone attempted to pet her.
