05/14/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Our tawny little Peach is a ray of sunshine, evoking all the joys that summer brings. A bit saucy with an extra dollop of sweetness, Peach is especially keen when she sees a ball. Though she’ll sit and wait for a throw, if you’re not fast enough she’s dancing around – “throw the ball, throw the ball”! She proves to be an adept player, retrieving and at times snagging the ball on the fly! Peach didn’t receive the best of care before arriving at the Care Center, but that hasn’t stopped her from demonstrating a world of potential for a loving new family. So, lace up your sneakers and come meet Peach today – take this bundle of sunshine home and let her brighten up your life! A volunteer writes: You would never think that a dog covered with calluses would be so happy and excited to be in company, tail wagging , butt wiggling and a big smile on her face, even tapping the ground with her front feet so overjoyed she is to be the center of attention…This is Peach for you…She looks like one of the team, included and accepted without having even asked for anything, just by being herself, a super pleasant and loving pooch…Peach is really a pleasure to be with. Life does not seem to have been so clement with her but she appears to have forgotten everything by being with us. She follows her caretakers everywhere, comes when called, sits or jumps for treats and walks pretty nicely on the leash..She does her business in the street and does not mind meeting her peers on the way or in a playgroup. She is a top of the line lap dog and relishes to snuggle in her human’s arms… A real “feel good ‘ gal… Peach is a real survivor who has forgotten her past just by being with people who care, here at the care center. Imagine what a sunshine she will be ..in your hands, safe, pampered and loved. Peach is at the Manhattan Care Center, all ready to meet you and be your forever best friend.https://youtu.be/zkooe7sAQFU
