A volunteer writes:

Little Jerry is quiet in his kennel…An eleven year old Poodle mix, with us for no fault of his own…His owner passed away….Jerry might be in need of a good grooming but he has a very lovely personality. He comes right away to his door, lets me pet him and scoop him right into my arms. Time for a walk and relieving yourself, Mr Curly…. Jerry is a good walker and does some business on the way. He climbs stairs nicely too. Free in a pen, he is a bit lost but comes for caresses and some roasted chicken.  A real sweetheart. I bet the groomer will make a star out of him ! Jerry is a very likable “little dog”, a soon to be beauty after a good haircut and mostly a friendly and gentle elderly who deserves a warm and  wonderful home  . Come and meet Jerry at the Manhattan Care Center.
