A volunteer writes: Beyond adorable and so happy to make new friends, Jazzy was thrilled to be going out for a walk. My heart broke when I saw her emaciated little body, her spine shows, her hip bones jut out and she has pressure sores on her hips and feet. Despite all of that she’s friendly and tail waggy and loves to meet new people. Jazzy is being fed an extra meal daily to help her gain some weight but even at full weight she’ll remain a little tail wagging peanut. Likely housetrained she ‘went’ as soon as we were out the door and showed off nice leash manners as we walked to the park. In a backyard pen Miss Jazzy played briefly with a toy, gave chase to a ball but once she knew I had treats I was her main focus. She takes them hungrily which is understandable. Jazzy seems to like other dogs, doing a little happy dance and tail wag as others pass our pen. We snuggle and kiss and I know Jazzy will dance her way into your heart and never let go. She’s adorable, friendly, social and sweet and simply needs some TLC to enhance the beauty that she clearly is. Won’t you open your heart to Jazzy?
PLAYGROUP:
When off leash with other dogs, Jazzy is tolerant of approach and greeting. She approaches and sniffs the helper dog with a neutral body, but then begins to air-mount.
