A volunteer writes: Jax’s curiosity about the world is made even more obvious by his one-ear-up and one-ear-down look– like he’s always got one ear out for something fun to do. On our walk, he stops to have a look at every person who passes to see if maybe they want to play or to stop and say hi to him. Jax is very good on the leash, cheerful, and walks with a spring in his step, like every moment is an adventure. Jax knows to sit for treats and responds very well to baby talk (wagging his tail all over the place as soon as he hears it– I’m sure in a past life someone loved him very much). When Jax sees another dog across the street, he assumes the play position– shoulders down and butt up in the air. If you are looking for an adventurous, fun-loving, and beautiful dog, please come and see Jax today.
For more information on adopting from the NYC AC&C, or to find a rescue to assist, please read the following: http://urgentpodr.org/adoption-info-and-list-of-rescues. If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email [email protected].
