04/13/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Who’s ready to party??? Fortunately you don’t have to wait for Thirsty Thursday or Sunday Funday to enjoy this delicious treat. Nope. 3 year-old Jameson is all you need to have the time of your life, and without the next-day headache! A baby gorilla with the most smooshable face, Jameson is nothing but sweetness from the moment that we meet. He whines excitedly in his kennel at the prospect of a walk, wagging his long, tiger tail and tapping his raven feet. As we make our way down the hall we pass a group of volunteers in the midst of a training session, and Jameson is so friendly he not only stops to greet every new two-legged friend, he even he says a quick “hello” to the large stuffed puppy at their feet! Out in the yard, Jameson loves to explore, but his travels don’t take him far. His favorite place is at your side, looking up at you with hearts in his eyes, trotting next to you with a pep in his step, or simply laying at your feet breathing in your every breath. Sadly, we don’t know much about this angel’s past. He does have a long, white scar across his muzzle, possibly from being held too long or maybe too tight, possibly against his will. But whatever its origin, Jameson has moved on. And like the morning that follows a bottomless night, the sun comes up, and with it, new beginnings. Truthfully, Jameson is such perfection you’ll need much more than a “shot” of him to get you feeling right. You’ll need him endlessly and always. And never with one regret. Jameson is waiting in adoptions at Manhattan’s ACC.

ENERGY LEVEL: We have no history on Jameson so we cannot be certain of his behavior in a home environment. However, he is a young, enthusiastic, social dog who will need daily mental and physical activity to keep him engaged and exercised. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in additional to physical exercise, to positively direct his energy and enthusiasm.
