Medical Summary Estimated age: ~1 year Microchip noted on Intake? negative History : stray, reported to be bleeding from paws Subjective: BARH Observed Behavior – very sweet. Did well during PE but had to be muzzled for injections. P = wnl R = eupneic BCS 4/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: clean adult dentition PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: MI, 2 testicles descended MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, dirty haircoat with 2 small puncture wounds on caudal aspect of right tarsus and 2 small puncture wounds on dorsal aspect of right carpus. Mild serous d/c, no swelling. Mildly painful on palpation CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: Small punture wounds (2 on tarsus, 2 on carpus) Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC DOH victim hold Start clavamox 13.75mg/kg PO BID x14d Recheck in 7, 14 days or sooner if there is an issue Prognosis: Excellent SURGERY: Okay for surgery
