Never socialized before Subjective: Intact male approx 3 years old. Bleeding from the mouth Observed Behavior – Afraid, attacks the ropes. Evidence of Cruelty seen -None Evidence of Trauma seen – Bleeding from the mouth Objective T = Not taken P = 80 bpm R = 16 bpm BCS 5/9 EENT: cherry eye ou, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Could not examine inside because the animal was muzzled. Bleeding from the mouth PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Intact male MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: Not performed Assessment Mouth bleeding cherry eye behavior Plan Hold Vaccines, flea treatment hw test performed Pyrantel applied in food Behavior classes are recommended. Prognosis: good SURGERY: Okay for surgery
