A volunteer writes: Jaime might be the middle-aged, short-legged gentleman you’ve been missing all your life! He can be a little anxious, but I suspect it’s mostly due to finding himself in a strange place. He seems housebroken, is camera shy, sits for treats, and pulls some on the leash. He might need a slow approach, but warms up more and more each time I take him out. He’ll waggily approach me for a little bit of petting, bounce away, and then shimmy on over again for some more. He’s revealed that he loves to play fetch and sometimes what seems to start as a submissive roll over, ends up being belly rub time! Please come see this sweet little guy at Brooklyn ACC and see if you’re a match!

_X_No children (under 13)
Potential challenges:
_X_Fearful/potential for defensive aggression (Jaime has been observed to display fearful behavior during her stay at our care centers; at times will avoid interaction and shy away from direct-touch. Jaime easily startles and is made uncomfortable by loud noises and sudden movement and will display proper warning signals as well as increase distance from anything that may present a threat. We cannot be certain if any other behavior is suppressed as a result of this environment. A period of decompression is advised before introduction or exposure to new and unfamiliar situations. Force-free, reward based training is recommended.)
