Our Inchworm does not look like a caterpillar although he certainly acts like one, aiming right at my goodies bag and gulping down almost one pound of roast beef…Well, that did not happen of course as I was able to take back almost half of it…Inchworm looked at me with puzzled eyes but somehow dealt with it graciously…Inchworm is more of a little tank, not one made for war, though as he is quite friendly, wags his tail a lot and does not get into arguments with dogs who bark even strongly at him…He is indeed quite a nice guy, good looking,a low rider with a long body, properly cropped ears and very melancholic eyes…He reminds me a little of Eeyore…..Inchworm is quite noticeable , though. He looks tough in his grey suit but he is no warrior. We should never judge a book by its cover… He is rather calm in his kennel and observes with poise and a questioning face, the crowds visiting the adoption quarters. He pulls quite a bit on the leash but a makeshift harness takes quickly care of the issue.Inchworm is very much house trained and as an intact male, does a lot of sniffing and marking..He wants to situate himself and make sure he is not forgotten… He can sit on command and for treats of course and likes to be scratched on the head and butt. Inchworm is a very likable character , an easy going chap, middle aged, used to people and other dogs, friendly and sociable. He is waiting for love and companionship at the Manhattan Care Center. Will you be the one opening your home and heart to wonderful Inchworm..?
