Medical Summary scan positive — 037836602 ~6-8yrs, male qarh. allowed all handling. bcs 4/9 moderate dental tartar/gingivitis, early nuclear sclerosis, no ocular or nasal discharge, waxy debris au normal thoracic auscultation; normal abdominal palpation severely matted on presentation especially at hind end and distal limbs with foul odor; ambulatory x 4 intact male it was reported to medical that the animal was infested with maggots under the matting sedated with telazol 1.2ml IM and maintained on isofluorane for shave down severe dermatitis/wounds at hind end, scrotal region and medial thighs, 5-6 maggots noted overgrown nails were trimmed, wounds cleaned with nolvasan and thin layer of ssd applied a: severe matting and underlying dermatitis/infection p: administed buprenex 0.3ml sq. rec rimadyl 12.5mg po q12 x 2 days and clavamox 62.5mg po q12 x 10 days. rec bath. continue to monitor while at bacc. good prognosis
