07/25/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: What a great dog! Kermit is so handsome, sitting up front in his kennel wagging his tail, happy to see a human with a leash. We’re out the door in a flash, Kermit going potty the moment we’re on the street. No wonder he was so happy to see me! His leash manners are lovely, he doesn’t mind the rain one bit as we head to the park. Kermit’s tail wags as we walk, he poses for photos like a pro and when he gets himself tangled up in the leash, I can handle him all over, maneuvering him to get him untangled. His head tilts as I make kissy sounds at him, he sits when asked, taking treats gently, and as wet as we are, I get a big smile from time to time. He’s super sweet, fun, friendly, well mannered, and enjoys a good hug which I’m happy to oblige. I look forward to spending more time with this guy, but mostly I look forward to watching him wagging his tail out the door with his new person or family. Shouldn’t that be you?
