01/02/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: While most people were putting the finishing touches on their Christmas presents and decorations, Holly found herself lost and alone and seeking refuge in a random person’s house. As they called the police to retrieve her, not sure what to do, they gave her food and were able to provide her some comfort with petting. Not quite the holiday one would hope for a sweet, gentle gal. During my time with her she was SO sweet. As I sat on the cold ground, she almost immediately climbed into my lap, craving the warmth and comfort of some soft words and lots of petting. We sat for awhile, her trembling at times, but slowly she began to relax, showing an even sweeter side, giving me kisses while I gave her some in return. On subsequent visits, her walk log noted that she didn’t seem to want to go out with other volunteers. She does prefer the safety of her den. But with a familiar face, she is up and ready to go. We don’t know much about where Holly came from, but I am confident that her future is bright in the right, loving home. Ask to meet her today.
A volunteer writes: The holidays are gone, but Holly is still here to cheer you up. A pooch named Holly, this is. She is a fine young lady. She wears a beautiful tan coat with a snappy white vest and facial accents. Quite a package! Come pick up this love bug today. You really need a great new friend going into the new year. Make 2017 memorable. The year you met Holly.
