A volunteer writes:

I know that if Hercules was younger, he would have been in a new home in a heartbeat. He is adorable, calm, well mannered and really really as cute as a button. Big eyes, mushy face, pink tongue ready for Valentine Day and a sweet marshmallow and caramel face that is totally kissable…He is a delicious senior !! Hercules has already attracted quite nice comments from visitors, staff and volunteers. He got himself a stellar behavioral evaluation and is is truly a lovely gentleman. Hercules is a good walker, very much house trained without marking. Stairs are not an issue for him. He seems quite cool with other dogs and  as a matter of fact, he lived and play with a stocky female Pitie, Jazzy,  also with us as their owners  could not care for them anymore. Hercules was adopted from us as a tiny puppy…His masters have only compliments to make about him. He likes  people, dogs and kids and has always behaved like a respectable family dog, the type we would like to have in our own home…Hercules is an attractive senior, sociable, friendly and well behaved, still young at 9 and would make a perfect companion for the person seeking a loving and calm pet buddy   Hercules is at the Manhattan Care Center. Just look at his eyes….They just spell..LOVE…
