Medical Summary scan neg dull/qar, non-ambulatory, allowed all handling. bcs 5/9 pale tacky mm, minor wounds to lips and tongue, eyes clear, no ocular or nasal discharge, ears wnl normal thoracic auscultation; uncomfortable on abdominal palpation, unable to palpate bladder multiple minor abrasions around distal limbs and hind legs, no significant wounds noted swelling at proximal right hind leg, holds right hind leg medially when on back (for radiographs) female intact, bloody vaginal discharge radiographs: lateral andvd pelvis — right hip dislocation, two fractures of right ilial wing unable to visualize bladder pcv/ts – 48/7.1 temp 99.6F a: hit by car, fracture of right ilial wing, dislocated right hip, bloody vaginal discharge – rule out bladder trauma p: gave buprenex 1.6ml IM and rimadyl (50mg/ml) 2.5ml SQ. rec transport to MACC for overnight monitoring bup 1.6ml q12 x 5 days. monitor closely for decline in condition

03/07/16 : palpated mod sized bladder; laerally recumbent QARH, depressed; CV/L wnl; crepitus palpated on L elbow and carpus.
A: HBC with pelvic fx, r/o neurologic involvement, pain. P: changed to hydromorphone 0.1 mg/kg IM QID (1.4 cc) gave 2.3 cc cerenia SQ to counteract nausea, cbc chem pending
