12/31/16 16:24 BASIC INFORMATION: Hazito is a tan/ white American pit bull terrier. Hazito was given to owner as a gift & has no known health issues. Hazito has been surrendered due to landlord issues and personal issues. SOCIALIZATION: Hazito has not been socialized much and is used to being in the home and yard, when strangers come around the home he barks. Hazito has been exposed around children, Hazito gets along with children & adults, but may play somewhat rough for small kids. Hazito has not resided with other pets and when he is walked and comes across a dog he ignores them. Hazito has not bitten another animal or person within the past 10days. BEHAVIOR: Hazito does not show signs of aggression when owner touches food bowl while he is eating. Owner is able to take bone, toy or any object from his mouth with no problem. Hazito enjoys bathing and grooming, when an unfamiliar person approaches the home, he barks & makes the owner aware. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW: Hazito has a high activity level. Owners favorite things of Hazito is, he is extremely affectionate & is always there to greet the owner. he loves to play with chew bones and Frisbees. Hazito would do best in a family home or a single person home with a lot of energy & time. For exercise, he loves to go out into the yard and play. Hazito has been kept mostly indoors & enjoys eating dry/wet/home cooked food. Hazito will go potty on grass or cement. BEHAVIOR UPON INTAKE: Upon intake Hazito displayed a stiff body and was very curious and observant of his surroundings. Allowed handling and scanned negative.

Dog leans forward or jumps up to lick the Assessor’s face with tail wagging, ears back and eyes averted. Sensitivity:1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1&2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy: 1.Minimal interest in Toy, dog smells, then turns away. Summary: Hazito was calm and wanted to mount the assessor through the assessment. According to Hazito’s previous owner, Hazito has not resided with other dogs and ignores them when he encounters them on walks. 1/03: When off leash at the Care Center, Hazito initially stands tall when greeting a novel female. He is slightly sexually motivated; intensely sniffing the greeter’s genitals. After handlers interrupt, Hazito wanders the pen. 1/6: Hazito is sexually motivated, but will offer brief bouncy solicitation with a novel female. As the session continues he explores his surroundings. 1/7: Hazito greets a neuter male with a tall posture but relaxes after a brief exchange of sniffs. He bounces away, and continues explore his surroundings. He is tolerant of the other dogs play solicitations but does not reciprocate them.
