Medical Behavior: — Sex: Spayed Age: 7 years Microchip Scan: positive 985170001417143 Evidence of Cruelty: no Observed Behavior: friendly but wary, allows handling Sex: spayed female Estimated Age: reported 7y
Subjective: animal has an altered gait (stiff as if arthritic), overweight, hives throughout; Eyes: slight opacity (no nystagmus or other neuro indications) Ears: clean but erythemic; Oral Exam: mild to moderate staining; Heart: HR WNL; Lungs: RR WNL; Abdomen: fatty but WNL; Musculoskeletal: stiff at hips with limited ROM, animal is uncomfortable being palpated, pressure sore on foot LHL lateral aspect; Mentation: WNL; Preliminary Assessment: monitor in kennels, overweight older dog; Plan: hold off on vaccines and topicals until DVM intake
