A volunteer writes: I can’t say enough nice things about Hannie!!!! When I walked over to his kennel, he stood up to greet me, gave his tail a little wag, and me a tiny kiss on my hand. After that I was hooked!!! He walked nicely on leash for me and sat for treats. Hannie liked every dog we met on our walk, he play-bowed and wagged his tail. Watch his video below and please consider giving Hannie his forever home. If you’re interested in adopting Hannie, come to the Staten Island Care Center.. .he’s ready and waiting.

For more information on adopting from the NYC AC&C, or to find a rescue to assist, please read the following: http://urgentpodr.org/adoption-info-and-list-of-rescues. If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email [email protected].
