Allowed all handling Evidence of Cruelty seen – No Evidence of Trauma seen – No Objective P = WNL R = WNL BCS 5/9 EENT: Eyes clear, severe otitis externa with purlent discharge in ear canal and crusted around pinnae, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Severe dental disease, slight underbite PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Female, no spay scar seen, small soft mass at left caudal MG MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, large firm raised mass (~4cm) at right hip region, significant dermatitis at caudal ventrum and ventral neck, sebaceous cysts and skin tags under neck CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: Geriatric, dental disease, otitis externa, dermatitis, mass Plan: Shaved and cleaned ears, appied otibiotic. Rec otibiotic q12 x 10 days, rimadyl 25mg PO q12 x 7 days, clavamox 187,5mg PO q12 x 14 days. Will require continued care for skin problems, FNA of mass Prognosis: Good short term prognosis SURGERY: Permanent waiver due to age and dermatitis
