07/15/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Haagen Dazs came into the care center as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He has been uncomfortable with interaction and has allowed only minimal handling in the care center. He gave growl warnings during intake and during his initial medical examination. When brought into the SAFER room, Haagen Dazs did not permit being collared, therefore we were unable to perform a SAFER aggression assessment. We recommend placement with a New Hope partner who can provide any necessary reward-based behavior modification and counterconditioning/
