The first thing Gwendelyn said to me when I took her out for a walk was, “Pardon my appearance. I’m really overdue for a blow-out and a pedi. And call me Gwen.” Right away I could tell she was a total girlie-girl whose primping routine had been interrupted by her time as a stray. She isn’t letting it bother her though, because she knows her ever-present smile is her best accessory. All this girl needs is a shampoo and a deep conditioning treatment of her pretty curly hair and she’ll be ready to be your wing woman, going shopping, hanging out in the park, or having some cocktails (she prefers water, because do you know how many carbs are in alcohol?? But you can go for it…). At only a year and a half, I’d expect Gwen to still be living that wild puppy partier lifestyle, but she says she’s sooo over it and is looking for a serious relationship with one special person. Gwen is a petite schnauzer mix, at only 11 pounds! She begged the shelter to round down to 10, but they wouldn’t do it! Still, carrying her through the park was a breeze. Come meet this sweet girl at the Manhattan ACC today!
